Dragon kill points (usually abbreviated with the acronym DKP) designates a kind of currency which is earned by participating in endgame raids and spent by acquiring loot from endgame bosses. The term DKP is also frequently used to designate raid-level loot system in general. The most popular systems for endgame loot distribution are point-based (and thus DKP systems)
What is DKP?
DKP, short for Dragon Kill Points, is a concept originally created by Thott of Afterlife, at a time where the only two raid targets in Everquest were two dragons, Lady Vox and Lord Nagafen. These points are awarded to each guild member as they attend a guild raid. The current DKP of each member reflects his or her priority for loot. When a member "wins" an item, they lose a DKP amount that reflects the value of that item.
DKP allows for an unbiased comparison between guild members when decisions about loot are to be made based on attendance and recent items that have been awarded.
Rules on DKP Looting System for ICC 25 raids.
1. Guild raids, EXTRA DKP will be awarded to those who are ON TIME!!
2. Being on time is a must to earning the bonus DKP
3. Bid Raise Rule 2-3 ++ adding 1 will not be Acknowledged
4. For Every hour you are in the raid a bonus of +2 is added to your Currency
5. To check your DKP look in your Officers note OR /w Wannabshammy or Nattyboy if they are online.
6. The bidding system will be on a tight scheduled to kept the raid going fast so if times up you've lost your chance better luck next time
7. Dont ask for DKP you will actually lose DKP if you do so
8. Each ICC Boss kill rewards you +3 DKP
9. Leaving Raids Mid Way of being done or Disconnecting will end in results of Losing -5 DKP.
Rules on DKP Looting System for all other raids that are NOT ICC.
1. Full Guild runs.
2. Leaving Raids Mid Way of being done or Disconnecting will end in results of Losing your DKP for that raid.
TOC 10 - 10 DKP
ONY 10 - 10 DKP
VOA 10 - 10 DKP
OS 10 - 10 DKP
TOC 25 - 25 DKP
ONY 25 - 25 DKP
VOA 25 - 25 DKP
OS 25 - 25 DKP
All DKP will be stored on your main. If you wish to transfer your DKP to your alt, it will cost you 5% and will be charged to your main.
